Changing the Inspection Task Owner

The Inspection Task Owner can be changed from the Define Inspection Plan, Perform Inspection, and Confirm Inspection tasks. Once the task owner has been changed, the new task owner assignee receives email notification .

  1. From the Perform Inspection or Confirm Inspection window, click the Change Task Owner link to assign the inspection to another user.
    Result: The Reassign Task Owner window is displayed.
  2. Zoom to select the new task owner. For more information on configuration, see New Task Owners.
  3. Enter a comment about the change of task owner.
  4. Click the Sign-off button.
    Result: The Sign-off window is displayed.
  5. Enter your user ID and password and then click the Sign-off button.
    Result: The Result window is displayed. The Result window is a window that displays after changing the task owner and asks the user where they would like to go next, such as to the Inspection Detail, to the Perform Inspection task, the Confirm Inspection task, or back to the Portal Page.
